Carolla Harzipavlou
Carolla's workshop and store are in Mirthios, Crete. The
address on her business card simply says 900 meters past
Mariou, before Asomatos. You should be able to find it.
She has been making hand twisted wire creations using alpacas
and brass including for 15 years. Her impressive collection
includes jewelry, candleholders, table settings, wreaths,
figurines, lamps, picture frames, baskets, and oil and vinegar
sets. All her handmade originals are one of a kind designs
often incorporating precious stones or glass. If you visit
her workshop, you will find her inside patiently contriving
her next piece and focusing on her craftsmanship while trying
to keep up with orders. Carolla's crafts are also sold in
the gift shops on board Greece's famous island hopping vessels,
the Blue Star Ferries, Tribus in Plaka, and many other shops
throughout Greece. (Tip: Carolla recommends cleaning alpacas
with Silvo liquid in small amounts using a soft cloth and
Brasso for her brass works. Haggerty Cleaning Duster is
also a quick way to them up!)
