Now 62 years old, Vassilis Kyrkos has been painting since
childhood. This native Santorinian has also spent 5 years
at the Athens University studying his medium, traveling
to Paris and other European countries to develop his own
style and expertise.
His famous ethereal paintings of Santorini's Caldera have
become a favorite among tourists, but Vassilis's talent
is also lies in painting portraits and objects. Using watercolors
and oils, Vassilis has painted some of the most well known
images of his island and continues to paint at his leisure
in his workshop in Oia.
