Ble
If you don't know it yet, Sifnos is one of the less
discovered gems of the Cyclades and now I will give you
one more reason to make a point to stop there; Ble, a quaint
jewelry shop, owned by Nikos and Spyros Karalis, sits modestly
along the main pedestrian walkway (where cars and motorcycles
may pass...so be careful) in Apollonia. Inside, the quiet
jewelry shop is painted a calm shade of blue and gently
welcomes a tired traveler. The pieces you'll find are feminine
and interesting, not to mention all original designs handmade
by both Spiros and his wife, Haroula.
They moved from Athens to Sifnos and have successfully
created and sold their works on the island for 20 years.
You will also find decorative objects and interesting ceramic
pieces for sale which are handmade by Spiro's brother, Nikos.
They are very well known for their works and continue to
attract the discriminating shopper. If you are looking for
more than a common design or Greek Key charm, this shop
will have something especially for you!
