I am always impressed by the jewelry in this shop. I have
collected many pieces of unique silver rings, necklaces,
and bracelets from this quaint shop in Plaka. Ifjewelry
is on my mind, I definitely stop here before I make any
final decisions. The owner, Katerina, is particularly friendly
and very knowledgeable. She speaks excellent English and
is always happy to help clients make the best decision.
The jewelry is all sterling silver in both contemporary
and Byzantine designs that are unique to Plaka. She carries
one of my favorite jewelry designers, Sisi Koukeri, among
others. The shop also carries a fantastic selection of clay
plates. They are all handmade, double fired, and enamel
coated pieces from Rhodes. I purchased one of these fabulous
decorative plates painted with an octopus that appears interestingly
mosaic like. It is one of my most treasured pieces in my
home. Katerina also has a hand painted collection of ceramic
dolls wearing traditional Greek costumes from different
regions made by a local Athenian artist. You will enjoy
finding this little boutique in Plaka. It is refreshing
and warm, just like my beautiful friend Katerina!
