Maro Kanioglou started her career in interior decorating.
In 1978 she began a very successful 15-year career in fashion
design. Her collections have earned her prestigious awards
in both Paris and Madrid. Maro now focuses her creativity
in the field of jewelry design, creating sculpted pieces
out of titanium, 18k gold, sterling silver, and semi-precious
stones. Each piece is carefully detailed using minimal lines
and soft curves.
Maro designs for the contemporary woman, giving her exquisite
pieces she can wear all day long without ever feeling overly
dressed. Her portfolio includes articles featuring her works
in popular Greek magazines, such as Vogue, Home
and Garden, Woman, Status, Wedding,
among others. Her works have been shown in major exhibitions,
including a showing in the Museum of Cycladic Art in Athens,
Greece.
